Quotica Terms of Use
Last updated: October 26, 2026
By downloading or using Quotica, you agree to these terms.
The app
Quotica is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), together with these terms. If they differ, Apple’s EULA applies.
Quotica Unlimited
Quotica is free to download and keeps one book of your own on its shelf, besides the sample book. Quotica Unlimited, a one-time In-App Purchase, lifts that limit for good on every device signed in to the same Apple Account. It is not a subscription. Payment, refunds and restoring the purchase are handled by Apple under the App Store’s terms.
Your content
You may only open, read aloud, translate and share books and documents that you have the right to use. You are responsible for the content you import and for anything you share with others, including over Wi-Fi.
Translations, voices and definitions
Translations, read-aloud voices and dictionary definitions are produced automatically and may contain mistakes. Do not rely on them where accuracy matters, such as for legal, medical or safety information.
Third-party services
Some features use services from others: Apple’s Translation framework and iCloud, Wiktionary and Wikipedia for definitions, and Apple’s App Store servers or Hugging Face for the optional Supertonic voice. Their own terms apply to them, and they may change or stop working.
Your data
Quotica does not collect personal data. See the privacy policy for how your books and settings are kept. Keep a backup of books that matter to you; deleting the app deletes the books stored in it.
No warranty
Quotica is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Using the app after a change means you accept it.
